At our school at the moment, we are studying portraiture. I have to say it one of the most exiting and engaging part of art, for me. I love drawing the face and adding a personality you drawing. I personally feel like it's a whole nother level and I don't know if you feel the same but I find it extremely beautiful.
In addition to portraiture, we are learning how to use charcoals an I swear, it is the most difficult things! It's as if the face itself isn't hard, but they need to make it even more difficult by adding the use of charcoal. Help me!!! The amazing thing about this medium is the texture that you can achieve. As you must have guessed this is not by me, and whilst I was searching for inspiration I found this. This is probably my goal in art, If only I could achieve this.
